Impact of the Corona Virus on Virtual Extension activities
20 March, 2020 — With the COVID-19 outbreak, we became highly focused in responding to this crisis as it evolves, and have been able to rapidly adjust staffing and to establish procedures that ensure the continuity of all our operations to the greatest possible extent.
We make sure that our employees and visitors are informed and up to date on all the proper precautions and hygiene procedures, including social distancing. We also ensure that our employees refrain from travelling on trips that aren’t absolutely necessary, and that they work from home whenever possible.
We have received some questions regarding the safety of our shipments. The advice from the official organizations, such as CDC, is that there is no evidence this virus can survive and be transmitted this way, and here is some related information from UPS.
We keep operating while making certain that all our activity is conducted in a responsible way – towards the society, our employees and partners, according to the regulations and recommendations that have been issued by national and international authorities, and we will continue to do so rigorously.
