VEmesh IoT Products
VEmesh is a family of products designed for high performance, general purpose wireless networking. Optimized for wireless mesh topology and for the operation in the ISM/SRD unlicensed frequency bands, VEmesh networks use the innovative synchronized-flooding technology: after an initiating node transmits its message, all nodes within range simultaneously retransmit the received message, repeating the process until all the nodes have received the message.
All VEmesh products are available for several frequency bands that include 863÷870 MHz in Europe, 902÷928 MHz in the US and 915÷917 MHz in Israel, all following the respective region regulations – ETSI, FC, etc. In Europe the products also follow LBT & AFA requirements, for maximal utilization of the frequency band.
Taking advantage of the synchronized-flooding high-performance and versatility, specialized VEmesh products have been developed for specific applications, such as D2D and E2D types Lighting Control, as further detailed on other pages of this website. Other VEmesh products have been optimized for dedicated protocols, such as Modbus, or for the use of specific RF technologies, such as LoRa, or for very low power consumption, such as in Energy Harvesting applications. VEmesh Module
VEmesh Module is a member of VEmesh family of products for high performance, general purpose wireless mesh networking. One Gateway with any number of Nodes form a bi-directional, high performance and cost-effective wireless mesh. On the RF side, a VEmesh network comprises of one VEmesh Gateway and a number of Nodes. VEmesh Modules are the Nodes of a VEmesh Network. And in VEmesh, the number of Nodes per network is practically unlimited, and so is the number of Hops.
VEmesh Module uses a two-chip layout, with one chip being one of the better off-the-shelf transceivers on the market, and the other being Virtual Extension VEmesh controller .
The various models of VEmesh Module have different output transmission power and performance. The typical Model S31 maximum power is +14 dBm and it has a connector for external antenna, a header connector for UART and power supply connection, requires an external power supply of 2.1÷3.6VDC at 170 mA maximum and its dimensions are is 38.1 x 21.6 millimeters (1500 x 850 mil).
VEmesh Gateway
VEmesh Gateway is a member of VEmesh family of products for high performance, general purpose wireless mesh networking. One Gateway with any number of Nodes form a bi-directional, high performance and cost-effective wireless mesh. On the RF side, a VEmesh network comprises of one VEmesh Gateway and a number of Nodes. VEmesh can support a practically unlimited number of Nodes per network, and so is the number of Hops.
VEmesh Gateways are offered is 3 basic models: TCP/IP connectivity (see illustration), USB or UART.
The Gateway is powered by an external standard 5V Power Supply, available off-the-shelf from any appropriate vendor. The Gateway, in a 80mm x 115.1mm x 27.4mm (3.15” x 4.53” x 1.08″) metal case, can be also mounted on a DIN-rail.
